内容記述 | This paper reports effects of rimed Summary writing (TSw) task to promote Japanese college EFL learners'writing proficiency. Learners were instructed to conduct the writing task after reading materials in every class for 13 weeks. At the end of thesemester, Iearners' perceptions about the task and the improvement of their writing performance were investigated using self-reports. The results indicate that more students thought the writing task had become easier and that about half students felt their writing performance had improved as the semester progressed. Therefore, TSW is promising at least for some Iearners as a way to promote Engiish writing proficiency. | |||||
